The xbox is home again!

About one hour ago my xbox was delivered at my door and i was thrilled to See what the problem with it was.

According to the repair paper they changed the motherboard and the DVD drive! so now i can enjoy playing games on the big TV from my couch and in my bed.

Lego batman i now shelfed!

So the last six days I've been playing the shit out of Lego batman.

Then i started to gather some achievements :) got myself 780pts in the game and i am pretty happy about that. 2 more days until i can play some dead space and 3 days until fable 2 :D

mama i´m coming home!

YAY! my xbox is on the way home! so maybe on Monday or Tuesday i will have my "twins" back home. cant wait to see what they fixed on it. was it the motherboard or the DVD?

I checked out ebgames.com and i noticed one of the ads were for 2 used games i will get little big planet for 9kr (1$) so i will call them up and See if i can pre-order it and then but 2 10 $ games and get it for nickles and dimes :D

Whats up doc?

Since last time when my xbox RRoD on me I've been playing on my other xbox. I got a few new games, Lego star wars, and Lego batman. i am also in the LBP beta that i thing ended 2 days ago. tested it once just to show my girlfriend how it worked and she taught it was great so i will pick it up later this month.

I am also in the CoD world at war beta and I've played 2 maps but will play it some more after i get the last achievement i want in pinata 2.

I got 900 pts and after this i will get 950 in the game. not to shabby ;)

RRoD

So now it has finally happened to me. the box showed me that it needed some vacation to Germany for some new parts. So i put it in a box and it is on its way to get fixed right now. Thank god i got two of them so i don't need to get my play wasted. lucky for me that it happened now and not when gears 2 or the other AAA titles are released later this year.

Today i made a cheap hoax on the local GAME store. I got 6 copies of "the club" and "dynasty warriors 5" for about 10$ from another store and went to game and got 3 brothers in arms 3 for 30 cent.

The store manager were pretty mad about hem getting riped of by me ilke that, starded shaking and turned red.

But hey i called in the day before and checked if it was legit and they said ok.

this week i got "the club" "dynasty warriors 5" "Beowulf the game" and "brothers in arms 3"

all those games for about 50$ thats a sweet deal.

long time no see!

Haven't been playing much new games for a while now. some CoD and GH. tried Rock band at my parents house and the drums were pretty cool. to bad i don't have room for those at my place. tomorrow is my little brothers birthday and he is getting a 360.

Soul calibur IV is out and...!

i don't have it.. YET! bought some plastic miniatures (warhammer 40.000)and the new rulebook for that so I'm pretty out of cash for now but maybe next month i will see it in the used section on the store.

This Friday cant come any sooner! Soul calibur IV is coming and I'm psyched as hell!

If the games has the same speed and precision as the last game it cant be anything other that the greatest next gen fighting game to date.

so we all know about you are going to be able to ride the Brumak and in this video you hear santiago say "reavers is one thing but a brumak?!"

In my mind before that level you ride on a reaver! and that´s awesome to the max!

ZOMG! E3 starts with a bang!

no-one would have guessed that FFXIII would come to the 360! i did not even think it was going to be showed at this E3 but at TGS.

What else can i say.. Another big realese lost to microsoft, first assassins creed then resident evil 5 then GTA IV and now FFXIII.. I am no fanboy for sony but i would like to have some use for my ps3, and MGS 4 and FF XIII was the games that made me go out and buy it.


But hey little big planet and killzone 2 looks awesome.
And dont forget Pixel junk eden, thats a console seller right there!

but since Final fantasy versus XIII is a exlusive as of now i might get the FF games for the ps3 anyway, if there´s no uber installs (thinking of you MGS 4!!)

10 hours straight!

So the weekend came and went and games were played. My brother joined me for a "quick" session of PJM and it ended with a 10 hour play session..

PJM is awesome in co-op mode. we made it to the last level and got about 10 rainbows.

next visit will sure include some more tree dancing monster bashing guys!

Today i got myself another sixaxis for my ps3. seems to me that i don really need it since i dont have any 2 player games on my ps3 (not counting GT5p) but my brother is supposed to visit this weekend and there might be some satanic game played..

Long day today....

I got home from work and i found Unreal tournament 3 on the floor! awesome i tought but then again i did not like the PS3 version so much. But hey there is no other games released this week som why not.

Ive been playing for about 2 hours now and its the same thing over and over again.. the campain is a laugh.. is just deathmatch, CTF and some orb destroying mission over and over again. agains bots... SUCKS!!

but then again its a AA title and i might have fun with it with some buddies but i doubt i will put it in my 360 again..

I am waiting for some Unreal Tournament III to pop in to my mailbox.. damn postman guy.. always late..

This monday i noticed that there was 121 $ missing fom my account and ihad no idea why.

But today i got a email from UPS that toywiz.com has shipped my order. and the order i made was about a month ago.. not that fast..

The funny thing about it is that i have no idea what the package can contain.

i think that there may be som GoW figures but im not sure.. the package has been shipped from u.s.a today so i will probably recive it on monday!

Cheap thrills!

Yesterday at work i had nothing to do i checked the bargain bin at a game store thats pretty close to work and i found "stranglehold" and "Timeshift" for a small amount of money. so on my lunch break i took the buss and picked them up.

I have been putting a few hours in to Stranglehold and it is pretty good, could have been polished a little bit more, but for 149:- it is a no-brainer.

I havent tried Timeshift yet but i have tried the demo and it seems to be a ok FPS.

I finished MGS 4!!

did not take that long to finish it. 18h 37min :)

it was awesome i would give it a nine :) i havent played it online yet. i will try to retrive my konami ID now :)

I ofcorse bought MGS4 on the 12th and i have played for about 7 hours maybe.

Just killed the second boss and got some pretty cool info about some plot issues.

Hopefully i will finish it before bad company arrives in my mailbox :)

Finished GTA IV!

And just in time for some MGS IV to take over my living room :)

Got the Limited edition from mega store. a little more sxpensive but alot cooler :)

so now we have a psp each.

My brother went out and got himself a psp. a great thing since he is spending 3-4 hours a day on a train. :)

And the new battlefield bad company demo is out on psn and XBL. check it out it is pretty cool!

and it is now 5 days until Metal gear solid 4 is out! i pre-ordered the special ed. cant wait for that.

Echochrome!

so i "bought" echochrome for the psp and it is awesome! i havent seen anything like it before. perfect game to play on the train on my way to work, at work and on my way home from work.

I bought a PSP and a wii this week and i havent told my brother about the wii yet but since he reads the blog (but dont write for some reason) he will find out today.

I got mario galaxy (a.k.a U R MR GAY) wii sports and Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. i bought it used so i dont ad the the insane sale records.

soo now i got all three consoles! the power of three will set us free!

Best 45kr ever i ever spent!

I visited my mother yesterday and my step dad were playing some wierd looking PSN game. I told him about what iv´e heard about PJM and he downloaded it, and we were hooked. played for about 3 hours at there house then the first thing i did when i got home was to download PJM and play it for about another 3 hours.

Cant wait to finish work so i can defend my little house :)

I ordered metal gear solid 2 subsistance for the xbox (my ps2 is broken) and tought that a major title like that should work without a problem on the 360.

Got home from work this friday and found the package that the game was in.

Been playing some Heavenly sword.

Since the Konami servers crashed the first day and they are pushing the beta to friday Heavenly sword got my attention instead. Pretty solid game. And i don´t like no-mind beat em ups for starters. many people these days complain about the length about the games that are released this "gen" for being short, and i agree some games i would love to be longer but then i could always play them again on a harder setting. I think the games are shorter now because of it takes alot more time to make a game these days with super hi def sound etc etc. If a game this gen would be only a year in development all games would be like the current ones on the wii... and i don´t want that to ever happen.

Just like when we were kids!

So im on the phone the other day with my brother and we are talking shit about if he is going to get a ps3 or not. Then i talked about amazon.com having a pretty cool bag i wanted to import. so after some google action we found it here i sweden (alot more expensive tough) but with a 24h shipment there was no holding back. so the next day went down to pick them up (yes he got the same bag aswell) and i have to say i did not expect it to be of so high quality. I can would without a care carry my 360 in this. But it will mostly have my lunchbox in it.

Another weekend bites the dust.

So its now monday and i got home from work about one hour ago. And got some pleh on!

Played a few games of CoD 4 online with my brother and finally figured out how you get to that lame spot we have been wondering about.

Bought the new gran turisimo game and heavenly sword the other day as well. haven´t really played much of those games yet but from what i have heard HS i supposed to be rather short (6-7h) but i got i rather cheap.

now its 30 days until we can make the city of liberty ours once more! GTA IV 4 life!! ;)

What to pleh on the ps3?

My brother came by and ranted on my ps3 as expected and he brought the ps1 game Diablo. we played untill 02.00 am (I went to sleep and he continued to about 04.00 am)

Seems pretty wierd though that we played ps1 games instead of ps3 games ;S guess they're more fun.

Traded in a couple of ps2 games at my "local" GAME store. Got GT5:prolouge and heavenly sword and 1000kr gift card (166$) I think I will use it for GTA IV and/or Battlefield: Bad Company.

Nostalgia Heroes

A game recently showed up on Xbox Live Arcade, Assault Heroes, and I must say it's the best release for quite some time..
I know there are alot of games like it out there already, but this one feels original and besides the fact that the game itself is alot of fun, it brings back fond memories of yesteryear, when me and my brother played Super SWIV (or Firepower 2000 outside of EU) for hours on end. For 400 Points, this game's a no-brainer!

re5 not impressed

I think this game just looks like a hi def re4 with a he-man lookalike aka Chris redfield. Seems pretty low tech when there is no blood stains after shooting a "zombie" wearing a white shirt.
They should make Chris a little less buff for starters. maybe the blood thing is because the footage is rather early. Lets hope so for the love of T-virus.

I bought a ps3 today with the games "uncharted drakes fortune" and some crap ass need for speed game (going to trade it in) HDMI and optic cable for surround sound. Now the first thing i notice about my new system is that is so quiet compared to the xbox 360.
but the sound of the 360 is a force not to be taken lightly.
A thing that i don´t like is the weight of the controller. its like i am holding thin air. that must be cuz of the removal of the rumble feature that i did not notice was gone now when i think about it.

Man now i just cant wait for some games to come out for it.

My co-worker asked me what console i will buy multi-platform games to, the 360 or the ps3. well like CheapyD already stated, if there is online content i will get it for the 360 otherwise i dont know. love those achievements a little bit to much.

I will probably watch movies and play exelusive games on the ps3 (mgs4 ffXIII)

But who knows maybee sony gets their shit together.

i haveto say the game is great! i started the game back when it was realesed and got stucked. then about two weeksago i started a new char, yuffbox. A woman this time beacuse ive heard that you should use the two alien girls for best results :)

its awesome with 3 wimen that fly around in space raising havoc on alien worlds.

I think i am pretty near the end of the game.

so got some sweet achievements. so now i will never put this lousy game in my xbox. (niether of them since i got two..)

First impressions.

So picked up vegas yesturday and played it for about 2 hours when i got home.

so far i have finished one mission, one terrorist hunt and one multiplayer game (that i won). and i am looking forward to playing some more of this. i like how you can customize you character almost anyway you want.

the only thing i can say from now that i think is bad must be the sound effects.. But hey ive only played it 10pm to 00pm so a could not crank up the volume but this weeden that will change.
